This 2006 Freightliner Columbia toter was converted into a motorhome when new by Optima Industries of Eastman, Georgia, and it was purchased by the seller in 2020. The truck is finished in white, and is powered by a 12.8-liter Mercedes-Benz turbodiesel inline-six that is backed by a 10-speed automatic transmission with an Eaton SmartShift system. The coach is equipped with a driver-side slideout, a passenger-side retractable awning, an Onan generator, a propane furnace, a rooftop air conditioning unit, a gooseneck hitch, 22.5″ wheels, and a dually rear axle. The floorplan features a lounge area, kitchenette, bathroom, an overhead bunk, and a dinette and pull-out couch trimmed in brown leather. The living quarters are also outfitted with a flat-screen TV, an integrated Bluetooth audio system, tile flooring, and wooden cabinets. A 2004 Renegade 40' four-car stacker trailer is included in the sale, and it features triple axles as well as an integrated loading ramp, a left-side entry door and retractable awning, and a 6k-lb hydraulic lift. This Freightliner Columbia toter motorhome and Renegade trailer are now offered with service records, a clean Carfax report for the Freightliner, and Virginia titles for the truck and trailer.
The truck is finished in white and features a driver-side slideout, dual retractable awnings, a gooseneck hitch, 22.5″ wheels with Continental tires, and a dually rear axle. An air conditioning unit is mounted on the roof, and the Onan generator, storage tanks, hookups, and batteries are stowed in compartments beneath the cabin floor. The truck measures 35' 11" with a height of 12' 9". Combined with the trailer, overall length is 71' 11".
The living quarters are outfitted with tile floors, recessed lighting, wainscoting, wooden storage cabinets, a flat-screen television, an integrated Bluetooth audio system, two ceiling vents, air conditioning, and ducted HVAC. The forward lounge area houses a brown-leather-trimmed dinette and a sofa that convert into sleeping surfaces, while a bunk is located atop the cab.
The kitchenette is equipped with wooden paneling and cabinetry, a sink, a stainless steel refrigerator and freezer, and a multi-function convection microwave oven. Tiled floors and wainscoting extend to the bathroom, which houses a toilet, a sink, cabinets, and a shower.
The cab houses swiveling Flexsteel seats trimmed in brown leather and mounted on Bostrom air-suspension bases. Features include air conditioning, power windows, and fold-down armrests. A CB radio and backup camera display screen are mounted overhead, and an electronic trailer brake controller is mounted to the right of the steering column. The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 3k-rpm tachometer, a 90-mph speedometer, and a suite of auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 84k miles, approximately 26k of which were added by the seller.
The 12.8-liter Mercedes-Benz MBE4000 turbodiesel inline-six was factory rated at 450 horsepower. The engine is backed by a 10-speed automatic transmission that is outfitted with an Eaton SmartShift system.
The 2004 Renegade 40’ aluminum vehicle trailer offers room for four cars, and it is finished in white with stainless-steel lower trim panels. It features stainless-steel radius panels, a drop-down loading ramp, a left-side access door and retractable awning, and LED lighting. The trailer rides on 7k triple axles, and stopping power is from electrically actuated brakes. Alcoa 17.5″ alloy wheels are mounted with a mixed set of 215/75 tires.
The interior is outfitted with an integrated loading ramp, an insulated ceiling and walls, florescent lighting, wall-mounted cargo tracks, a 6k-lb hydraulic lift, and a forward storage compartment.
The Carfax report for the Freightliner shows no accidents or other reported damage.
