1993 Mustang, 2X3 square tube, 4 link, DA rear shocks, Mustang II front suspension. All steel body except hood and rear hatch. Have 2 hoods. One is damaged but can be repaired. Car weighs 2500 with BBC and glide. The front clip comes off with 4 Dzus fasteners. Original glass windows in the side, lexan front and rear windshields.
The motor is a 498 BBC, Eagle crank, Oliver rods, Icon 2618 pistons, Comp roller cam, 502/502 ported heads, Victor intake with 1050 gas Dominator. All MSD ignition. Has a Digital 6Plus box. FTI 6,000 converter, PG with ultra-bell, JW 1.80 straight cut gearset, 8 clutch high gear, kevlar band, dual ring servo. I build these units.
Car has run best of 6.11 at 114, and 9.73 at 136. It has a dual plate nitrous system to play catch up but has never been used. K&R single timer delay with Zero Force, Biondo 00 button, has bump down connected and working. I have a jumper plug to run off the bottom bulb and for open comp. It has new Goodyear D1984 slicks, about 35 passes. Last set of tires went over 200 runs. Replaced all for rotors, pads, and rebuilt all four calipers just before last season. Wilwood brakes all four corners. Full cage with funny car cage. Belts expire Dec 2026. Very easy to get in and out of the car.
I will sell as a complete car, ready to race for $24,000, or sell as a roller any way you want it. I can remove the engine, trans, converter, nitrous system and the electronics and sell for $15,000. If you want engine, trans, converter, or any other way, we can make a deal.
I have another car that I am preparing to run in Modified Production. If I want to bracket race, I have another simple foot brake car. I just want to get out what I have in this car. I built it on a very reasonable budget. You will not be disappointed in this car. It works good and responds well to adjustments.
