Early 427 Cobra, 427 Side Oiler, 4 speed, ERA replica number 50, That may tell you enough.... but Most Cobra Enthusiast are Familiar with ERAs. This is an early car built in the early 80's. It has a very healthy sounding 427 side oiler that is .020 over last time it was freshened and it's a touch rowdy, it has Aluminum heads, Eagle rods, Accusump system and a single 4 driving a 4 Speed through 3.31 rear gears. The rear end is special now $12,000 upgrade from ERA with outboard brakes which is both safer, stronger and lighter than the standard rear. Car is well sorted and seems dependable as a tractor. Car is also titled as a 1967!!
I can go into more details but please read the following as it will answer a lot of questions. Most Side Oiler Powered ERA's command a premium many bringing 100k or better but there are a few reasons this one is probably the cheapest best running well sorted 427 FE powered ERA on the market and why it's not 100k. It was raced a lot by its second owner from about 84 to around 03/04 so it has some mods that are not on the normal ERA. It has a class legal aluminum Fuel cell in the trunk that is both sumped and vented but the Lemans filler cap on the fender is not hooked to it...so you have to open the trunk to put fuel in it. There is also dual electric fuel pumps neatly mounted in the trunk with a cockpit kill switch. And while a Cobra is not bought for its trunk space you need to know this trunk is built for going fast. Also I have the windshield wipers as well as the bumperettes but neither are installed on the car. Finally, this car has been 4 corner scaled for the track and the optima battery is in the passenger floorboard for balance. The tires are old as well. Those things might be right up your alley or they may be drawbacks but I want you to be aware of them.
I have cold start videos and tons of pics I can send. I run mostly Race gas in all my collector cars as it seems to last longer than the ethanol based stuff that out today. I always kill the power to the pump and let it run itself out of fuel in the bowl , then switch the batteries off. It can sit for months and you check it out, turn power on, turn pumps on, let Accusump pre oil, pat the gas and she fires up no choke. Let it run get some warmth and you are off in something that garners Attention.
I prefer cash outright sale, However I make take trades largely in my favor for 66-79, 94-96 Broncos, 73-79 Dentsides, FoxBody Mustangs, Saleen's, Cobras, OBS Fords, Peterbilts or construction equipment 7045072453
