Front Engine Dragster $17000 Will fit large driver
Chassis, built in 2002 by Phil Robideaux Race Cars, 240 “ Wheel base, Currently NHRA certified for 6.00 just expired this month. Originally set up for blown old style hemi with PG. I have the motor plates that go with it. Current engine is 468 Chevy, all new build by Kingsly. Car was built to run local nostalgia circuit and was built to be hot lapped with radiator system. The chassis was run for 3 passes with the hemi, never run with the BB Chevy. The BB Chevy has 0 passes on it. Rebuilt PG with trans brake. New electronic tach with drive shaft speed and data recording. MSD is new. Tires have 3 passes on them. . 9” ford with Strange aluminum pumpkin and 3.89 gear ratio. Converter is out of my super comp dragster.
Cage Dimensions are 21” inside width front of hoop, 38” front seat cross bar to inside top front hoop, 40” back of seat to inside top of hoop and 40” back of seat to pedals.
Has Moroso vacuum pump and alternator and full gauges. Front tires and wheels are new. I have the old alcohol fuel tank and also a fire bottle system to run alcohol. Everything goes with it. Pink Parachute, new never pulled…..
Converter and trans out of S/C dragster, trans is fresh. Has new trans blanket and remote trans cooler under radiator.
Still needs a few things: throttle cable is stiff, needs to be replaced, and the starter needs to be shimmed. Safety cover for drive coupler needs to be mounted. Even though everything is new, all the SFI certs will need to be redone. Could be raced immediately if you have stiff throttle springs and do not need all of the SFI certs….
Car was never run, I have been building it for 6 years and got too old to race it. Should run easy 8.30 et at 155 MPH in the ¼ mile. Body and paint are very nice, and the wheelie bar needs to be repainted.
Also have a Yamaha gas golf cart that I can let go cheap and a new Simpson SFI-20 fire suit, new but needs recert.
Will consider trade for something street legal…. Cannot meet you anywhere (my trailer had a tree fall on it, for sale cheap!)
