You have been given excellent advice from all these guys. Now for my 2 cents worth. The days of the "backyard" mechanic are over. Every thing is computerized today, especially cars. If two people apply for a job as an Auto Tech, and one is self taught and one has a Degree; who do you think will get the job? My advice is simple. Do what you hate for a while, to do what you love for a life time. If you do a job that you love you will never work a day in your life. Thats is a old adage, but very true. Good luck.

School experiences can vary a lot depending on teaching quality and student motivation, so honest feedback like this really matters. Many students struggle not because of the system itself, but because they lack access to flexible learning tools outside the classroom. One useful approach is to learn English online, which gives more control over pace, practice, and real-world communication skills that traditional classes sometimes miss.
