Well guess economy and houses are saying what people have been trying to say .....NO MONEY AROUND, but some people on here think there stuff is worth a million dollars and....IT AIN'T man there is some junk on here at stupid prices,then there is some down right steals ,oh yeah and sell and trade ....trade value is higher ,What's with that ,if I trade it I must have 5000 higher ....people get a grip you make yourselves look like fools asking more on trade, I would like to find something fair not a million but some of these ads are off the wall ...will sell my mint 69 nova only needs floors 1/4's and roof ,engine and trans ,oh yeah wheels don't go with it for 2500000 why waste the ad space if your selling and not tire kicking don't waste the space,I have sold alot of cars and parts on here,but times are tough ,oh well just my 2 cents :(

I guess people also spent alot of money on Christmas. I'm not moving anything right now. My RJ adds are just costing me money. I figure it'll turn around when people start getting their tax refunds.

I think what some people are saying is don't try to trade me a something worth a lot less than what I have on even trade. Example, I was looking to trade one of my all alum. blown small blocks for a bigger nitrous motor, and a guy wanted me to do a even trade for a steel block 555 that hadn't had nitrous on it, etc etc. Or wanting to trade a 225" super comp dragster for a 265" top dragster, and the list goes on.. I had a guy actually propose trading 5 laptops for my 97 convertible camaro at one point!

Although I have seen quite a few guys with dragsters posting them for 80K... I just laugh when I do happen upon one of them. :lol:

Something is ONLY worth what someone ELSE will pay for it, NOT necessarily what the seller THINKS it's worth. MARKET VALUE is a whole bunch different than emotional value especially in the case of something in a used condition. NEW item prices are based on the builder's/manufacturer's costs and needed profit margin to stay in business.

First off, for the first time in the history of this country, the Democrats have blind-sided the American people by nominating and electing a NON-NATURAL-BORN-CITIZEN, Barrack Obama, who was born in SOMOLIA to parents who where residents of Somolia at the time of his birth. I know that you are going to say that it is because his mother was an American citizen, but thats where the deception comes in. Acording to US law, an American Citizen CAN NOT posess dual citizenship, which means that if you become a citizen of another country, any country, you relinguish your citizenship in the US, so that any children you bear are citizens of that new country, NO MATTER WHAT, NO EXCEPTIONS!! Barracks mother could return to the US and have her citizenship reinstated, but that doesn't change Barrack's status. Barrack Obama was born to Somolian parents at the time of his birth so his election to the Presidency of the US is illegal and unconstitutional. Just ask to see Barrack Obama's birth certificate, that he won't show to anybody!

Next you talk about capitol gains.

The reason the banks are in trouble is because the likes of Billary Clinton, James Earl Carter, Nancy "Stretch" Polosi, Ted "Sleeper" Kennedy, Al "The Bore" Gore and the rest of the Democratic Party, who have been pushing the Banks to loan money to people, for the purpose of buying a home, who can not afford to buy homes in the first place! For the past 28 years these people have been screaming that every citizen should own a home no matter weather or not they have the ability to pay for that home! Now that the banks are at their limits of lending and on the verge of collapse, these same people are now just pointing their fingers at the Republicans and blaming the for this crisis, just like the Democrats always do!

And then, you blame the Republicans for the potential demise of the US auto industry? That makes a whole lot of sense! Since when is it the responsibility of the government to control and/or oversee private business? Answer: NEVER!! Its up to the individual companies to plan for their own futures, not the government! If the US car makers fail, well thats their own fault by not staying on top their game. I agree that its not good for our country if they fail, but they are private businesses and if they fail, so be it! The government isn't comming to bail any of us normal American citizens out of poor planning and financial circumstances, nor should the government bail out poorly run businesses!

Stop believing what the mainstream media is trying to blow up your butt and start looking at the facts, especially before you start ridiculing anyone else!

The problem with our country debt isn't Republican values. Its because we went into Iraq by ourselves, with not much help from other countries. But remember it was Colen Powell that said Iraq had weapons of mass distruction, you know the man that endosed Obama at the end of the election. Bush was in charge so I'm sure history will give him full blame. But also remember our Democratic lead Congress voted to go into Iraq. Now we're 3 trillion dollars in debt. Its going be hard to get out without risking the lives of thousands of our troops and the stability of those nations in that region that supply most of the worlds oil. In my opinion we should be taken 1/2 the oil thats being produced in Iraq, to pay the cost of us being there. I'm sure that screaming liberals would say thats not the nice thing to do. But to blame Republicans or Democrats for the corruption in our country is absurd. 20 years ago it was junk bonds. There's always going to be people that will break the law to get rich even CEOs. I dont blame Democrats everytime a liquor store is held up by someone on welfare. Were just going to have to put these people in jail for a long time.
