2014 Ford Mustang
This was a body-in-white car from Ford. I purchased the car as a roller in July of 2021 from Livernois Motorsports. They had the cage and chassis work done by Watson Racing but never got the car built. The car was sold to me as a 2014 model year, but has the hood pins and look of the 2013 Cobra Jets that Watson built in that time frame.
Engine: Gen 1 Aluminator. MMR chain guides, tensioners and oil pump. MMR billet oil pan and MMR pick-up tube. BOSS intake. American Racing Cobra Jet long tube headers. Ford controls pack and Ford computer. SCT tuner
Cooling: Electric water pump. Mishimoto Aluminum radiator. Stock fan.
Transmission: JPC stage 1 S197 TH400 kit. 8" converter. BBK shifter. Transbrake/2-step installed. Trans-cooler
Rear end: Strange Ford 9". 4.88 gears.
Suspension: Stock S197 parts. Solid rear control arms. CJ shocks and struts. Flaming River Manual steering rack.
Brakes: Aerospace Components 4 wheels discs. Billet 4-piston calipers. Vented rotors.
Fuel: 3 Gallon Watson Racing tank in the trunk. Stainless Watson fuel lines. -8 AN fitting and lines throughout. Aeromotive 340 Stealth pump.
The car was completed just before the start of the 2023 Season. There are roughly 35-40 passes on the car. 11.70's were average for the car up at altitude at Bandimere Speedway. The car hasn't had a dyno tune day yet.
