FOR SALE – 442ci Slawko Splayed-Valve SBC – Former 1,050 HP Engine – $13,500 OBO
Selling my 442ci small-block Chevy race engine/package. This was an all-out, no-expense-spared engine when it was built with approximately $35,000 invested at the time and top-of-the-line components throughout.
This engine made approximately 1,050 HP naturally aspirated and has around 100 passes on it.
IMPORTANT: The engine is currently apart. The short block is still assembled, but the heads, intake and top end are removed. It was taken apart a couple years ago for inspection and has remained apart since. It was not disassembled because of an engine failure.
This is the same engine I previously advertised complete and running years ago. I simply haven’t had a use for it and would rather see someone put it back together and race it.

I’m selling it as-is and apart, which also gives a serious buyer the opportunity to inspect what they’re buying before having it freshened and reassembled.
