This car was built by MTI during the peak of their involvement in the F-body Camaro scene. If you know MTI, you know they are one of the top performance shops in the country. They transformed this SS into a well sorted street/strip car with Stage II engine upgrades, a track capable suspension, and drivetrain improvements.
I have owned the car for over 15 years and have always maintained it with top quality fluids and careful upkeep. The car was mostly street driven and saw little to no track use. At one point it spent time parked outside, which led to the paint issues shown in the photos.
About six months ago, I began bringing the car back. The small rust area around the T-top was cut out in preparation for proper repair, and I spent many hours going through the major mechanical systems. The car is now mechanically sorted and runs great.
Unfortunately, unexpected medical expenses are forcing the sale. It is ready for the next owner to finish, with the remaining work being primarily exterior cosmetic repair.
